This is a beautiful diamond ring with a distinctive cathedral setting. The cathedral setting is one of the most elegant, classic and popular engagement ring settings. Similar to the cathedral arches it uses arches of metal to support and securely hold the centre diamond or coloured gemstone. The centre stone can be set with prongs, bezel, tension or basket design and it can sit low or high above the arches. It’s defining characteristic is not how the centre stone is held but rather how the mounting is built and how the shank and the arches are relating. The cathedral engagement ring setting got its name because as the name implies, it’s shape mimics the grace and elegance of a cathedral.
A really distinctive piece of jewellery, this is an oval cut diamond in crossover diamond setting. The beautiful centre diamond is held in with four prongs, which is a nice alternative to the traditional round cut diamond. However, what really makes this piece stand out is the crossover setting, which curves around the finger, before joining back towards the diamond. The curve is then highlighted with smaller diamonds placed along the band.
This is a stunning marquise diamond ring, also sometimes referred to as the “Navette” shape, meaning “little boat,” as the shape of the diamond is said to mirror the hull of a small boat. This diamond is set in a beautiful platinum ring and held in by four claws and has smaller diamonds running along its shoulders.

This beautiful ring features a stunning princess cut diamond. Secured with four prongs at each corner this jewellery piece would make for a wonderful engagement ring. The ring also features channel set shoulders with complimenting smaller princess cut diamonds. A channel setting is one of the most secure ways of setting a diamond into a ring, so you can be sure your diamonds will be safe.
Along with the six-claw solitaire, the four-claw solitaire ring is one of the most traditional ring styles, and would perhaps even be considered as iconic. This ring is beautifully presented and adorned with smaller diamonds running along its shoulders. A great choice for those that want to make the most of their diamond.
