THIS IS THE STORY OF JAMIE AND EMMA’S ENGAGEMENT

 

Jamie knew exactly the engagement ring he wanted.

He had been planning it for months. Knowing all along what ring he wanted to produce, the design was definite. The proposal had to be in Jamaica. We first met Jamie back in November, 2019, when he walked into our store. Going backwards and forwards with different diamond cuts and specifications, it had to be perfect, of course.

Once Jamie was happy with the selected diamond, the magic began. Our workshop do what they do best, design the dream ring. The CAD team produced the most outstanding ring. Jamie and Emma could not believe the finished product. Look at their smile.

The Story – Proposal In Jamaica

Jamie arranged a lovely surprise at the beach, starting off with a picnic. He convinced Emma that it was merely a romantic gesture, he is very romantic so it was not out of character. The pair nearly got drenched by a huge wave! As it started to get dark as the sun set, they headed back to their ground floor, seafront balcony.
Jamie started to read out a poem, Emma immediately knew what was about to happen and could not contain the tears! He got down on one knee, Emma said yes! A violinist serenaded them through the night and they enjoyed the rest of their time in Jamaica.

The ring came out flawless; A platinum (950) ring with 75% of the band micro set with diamonds. Jamie wanted the band to be delicate, it is what we are good at. The band itself was 1.5mm wide, making sure that the diamonds match the colour of the centre stone, it was scintillating!
