Hatton Garden Christmas Campaign

We are pleased to be part of Hatton Garden’s advertising campaign, which is supported by Hatton Garden’s Business Improvement District. This includes a bus advert and a website which has great information on Hatton Garden, including places to eat, shop and of course, where to buy diamonds! So, we thought we’d take this opportunity to show off our advert and talk a little bit about the area we call our home.

Hatton Garden takes its name from Sir Christopher Hatton, a politician and advisor to the Queen, who in 1581, was gifted the property of Ely Place by Elizabeth I. The property had a lavish garden that branded the street and eventually, the surrounding area. The area has taken precedence as London’s go-to jewellery destination since Medieval times and bygone eras, when the old City of London was divided into quarters dedicated to particular types of industry. The legacy of this rich history can be found around every corner, with ancient old yards, low-ceiling beamed pubs and cobbled side streets.

Since then, a number of media and creative businesses have made the move to Hatton Garden in recent years, bringing with them an expanse of trendy food stalls, independent retailers and haute cuisine. Here they nestle between historic shops and century-old buildings, with the long-standing community of diamond jewellery stores forming the cornerstone of London’s ‘diamond district’.  Offering many services including bespoke jewellery design, loose diamonds and a plethora of beautiful diamond rings, its no wonder that visitors from across the world come to see and buy diamonds here.

We at Hatton Garden Diamonds, are proud to be a part of this community and pride ourselves on our three stores, Regency Jewels, Harmony Jewels and Dynasty Jewels. We too offer bespoke jewellery design as well as jewellery repair and experienced advice. So whether you’re looking for a unique engagement ring, or just information about diamonds – our expert team are on hand to help you through.
